USA Risperdal News
Risperdal trials in the U.S. have found that more patients suffer strokes or fatalities when taking Risperdal than those who take a placebo. In some experiments, these consequences are nearly doubled for Risperdal users.
In 2003, Janssen Pharmaceuticals issued a letter to doctors regarding the health risks of Risperdal. One year later, the FDA warned Janssen that this letter was misleading. The Janssen letter did not disclose information about Risperdal’s potential diabetes, coma, and death risks.
The attention Risperdal received in the national news has lead to a number of Risperdal-related lawsuits. Nobody should be deceived by misleading pharmaceutical advertising. It is an irresponsible and callous act when drug manufacturers knowingly market dangerous products. Fortunately, awareness about the negative consequences of Risperdal has been raised among Americans.
