In 2003, Janssen Pharmaceuticals issued a letter to doctors regarding the health risks of Risperdal. One year later, the FDA warned Janssen that this letter was misleading. The Janssen letter did not disclose information about Risperdal’s potential diabetes, coma, and death risks.

The attention Risperdal received in the national news has lead to a number of Risperdal-related lawsuits. Nobody should be deceived by misleading pharmaceutical advertising.
